بكل فخر، شارك طلاب قسم علم النفس – كلية الآداب – جامعة عين شمس في أولى فعاليات مبادرة "بداية جديدة" التي أطلقتها الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد (NAQAAE) بالتعاون مع رئاسة مجلس الوزراء وجامعة الدول العربية، وذلك بهدف نشر ثقافة الجودة وتعزيز وعي الطلاب بأدوارهم في تطوير التعليم وضمان جودته.
أقيمت الفعالية يوم 8 مايو 2025، تحت رعاية معالي الأستاذ الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي – رئيس مجلس الوزراء، واستضافتها جامعة عين شمس برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين، وبحضور قيادات الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم، وعلى رأسهم:
الأستاذ الدكتور علاء عشماوي – رئيس الهيئة
الدكتور هشام عبد الناصر – مستشار رئيس الهيئة للاتصال السياسي والمدير التنفيذي للمبادرة
الأستاذة الدكتورة ثناء راضي – نائب رئيس الهيئة لشؤون التعليم العالي
الأستاذة الدكتورة ميريام فريد عياد – مديرة مركز ضمان الجودة بجامعة عين شمس
الأستاذ الدكتور حسين خاطر – مسؤول تدريب المبادرة والمتحدث الرسمي باسم الهيئة
تميز قسم علم النفس بدعم وإرشاد حكيم من قياداته الأكاديمية، وهم:

الدكتورة هويدا عبد الحميد – مديرة مركز ضمان الجودة بكلية الآداب
الدكتورة إيمان عماد الدين – منسق برنامج ليسانس الآداب في علم النفس
وقد ضمت الفعالية طلابًا ممثلين عن كليات متعددة مثل: الآداب، طب الأسنان، الهندسة، الإعلام، التربية، والألسن.

أظهر الطلاب المشاركون أداءً فاعلاً ومتميزًا في ورش العمل التدريبية التي أدارها كل من الدكتور هشام عبد الناصر والدكتور حسين خاطر، حيث تفاعلوا مع محاور التدريب وساهموا بآرائهم وأفكارهم في مناقشة دور الشباب في دعم ثقافة الجودة.

Psychology Department – Ain Shams University Actively Participates in the Launch of “New Beginning” Initiative for Quality Assurance in Education
With great pride, students from the Department of Psychology – Faculty of Arts – Ain Shams University actively participated in the launch of the “New Beginning” initiative, organized by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) in cooperation with the Egyptian Cabinet and the League of Arab States. The initiative aims to promote a culture of quality and raise students' awareness of their role in advancing and assuring the quality of education.
The event was held on May 8, 2025, under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly – Prime Minister of Egypt, and was hosted by Ain Shams University, led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin. The event welcomed leading figures from NAQAAE, including:
Prof. Dr. Alaa Ashmawy – President of NAQAAE
Dr. Hesham AbdelNasser, Ph.D. – Political Affairs Advisor to the President of NAQAAE and Executive Director of the Initiative
Prof. Dr. Sanaa Radi – Vice President for Higher Education
Prof. Dr. Myriam Farid Ayad – Director of the Quality Assurance Center at Ain Shams University
Prof. Dr. Hussein Khater – Training Coordinator of the Initiative and Official Spokesperson for NAQAAE
The event brought together student representatives from various faculties, including Arts, Dentistry, Engineering, Mass Communication, Education, and Al-Alsun.
The Psychology Department stood out with strong academic support from:

Dr. Howaida Abdelhamid – Director of the Faculty of Arts Quality Assurance Center
Dr. Iman Emad El-Din – Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Program in Psychology
Prof. Dr. Myriam Farid – Director of the Quality Assurance Center at Ain Shams University, who delivered a keynote speech on the critical role of quality in the development of higher education
